I have the Jackery Giant+ now and it's really great. I can keep it in my backpack and I can keep it for days and I can charge my things and I don't have to worry about dying. The only thing bad is I don't really know how much is left in the battery. 9.5/10 would recommend.
Not that I currently have the budget for a *second* battery pack but, to complement the heavy 17 Ah plastic pack I already got via Massdrop I'd like something lightweight in a stylish metal casing, for EDC as opposed to travel. It wouldn't need much capacity and a 2.1A port wouldn't be a priority.

That would be the Xiaomi 10400 battery pack, my friend.

That one is quite possibly great for many other use cases, but I expect it's too big for my use case of complementing a 17 000 mAh pack. Maybe it would've been better to get one middle-ground pack like a 10 400 mAh one from start, and have only one, but I already have the 17 Ah one and don't want to have bought it in vain! So my thinking is to get a much smaller-sized one for daily carry as an emergency phone battery backup, and carry the big one when traveling.
I personally own the EasyAcc 10,000mAh backup battery, and it is fantastic for the price. It should absolutely win this vote. I bought it prior to going on a camping trip with my family, and lo and behold, the camp site had no electricity. This battery provided enough power to charge our cell phones several times completely, and whenever we went somewhere in the car, we'd plug it in to charge for a while. It was a life saver!
too bad ChargeAll isn't availible yet.
I'd love to see one of these show up. Newegg frequently runs a heavily discounted no-name battery as a daily deal and the reputable ones are made by small companies so Massdrop could be able to negotiate a pretty good price.
time to make the switch to hydrogen fuel cells my brothers. get at me if interested.
