When it comes to light, "most powerful" is not just about the watts–it's about the wavelength. A blue laser is great, but a violet laser has more powerful photons. If you want to fry something with a laser, 405 nm light (violet) is much more strongly absorbed than blue light. And violet light makes fluorescent stuff glow.
