I have removed the inappropriate poll option from this poll.
If anyone is considering buying a prebuilt computer, contact me and I will gladly help you pick out parts for your budget and I will either build it for you cheaper than these people or I will help you put it together over a skype call. This is a serious offer.

I will do likewise. I have a ton of experience building computers (I'm on, like, my sixth one) and I can walk you through pretty much everything outside of custom water loops and lighting.
Here's an outdated pic of my current build:

Prebuilt gaming desktops are overpriced and terrible. Build your own unless you are incompetent, in which case you have no business gaming outside of consoles to begin with.
Is it possible to remove that 'build your own' option? It's not helpful in the slightest and only serves to be masturbatory.

This. The point of Massdrop is to increase the leverage the consumer has over the producer. Big companies could give a shit about anything but the largest body of consumers. Just look at how unethically most large companies act.
Wow, those really are horrible specs. That APU gives no good upgrade path with its FM2 socket. The only reason why that BluRay player is on there is because people are comparing is to a console and all consoles have BluRay players, even when they're never going to use it. And the PSU they used is probably rock bottom quality and price that costs $20 or less, because prebuilt's don't care for safety and quality. That case is probably nowhere near $150, as they assume the buyer isn't going to upgrade anything and end up making it hard to build in with a severe lack of features and configurability.
I've heard a lot of negative things about iBuyPower. The only companys I would trust to build a prebuilt if I ever needed to get one for whatever reason is Peugeot Systems and Digital Storm.
Don't buy these overpriced pieces of garbage. Building your own system is both cheaper and more rewarding. My dad purchased a CyberPower system a few years ago only to have it set fire a few hours after powering it on and cover his whole room in ash and soot. Not saying that reflects the quality control of Cyberpower or any other pre-built company, but at least when you do something yourself you can be pretty sure it won't set on fire.

I got a desktop from CyberpowerPC 6 years ago, before I had the skill/courage to build one myself, and although they did a fairly good job, they didn't install the extra case fan I ordered, they just included it with the packaging. Which would be OK except for the fact that this particular fan would require removing every single component from the PC to install, completely defeating the purpose of paying them and waiting for them to build it.
My room mate a few years later got a desktop from iBuyPower and it wouldn't power on when he first got it. He sent it back to them, and after an extra 2 weeks or so of waiting he finally had a functioning desktop, but they downgraded the defective parts to base models even though he paid extra for an upgraded cooling video card and USB3 motherboard. He then had issues with games crashing frequently for the next year until he eventually got a new motherboard and the problems went away (so they replaced his defective motherboard with a cheaper, also defective motherboard).
I would not recommend these companies for custom desktops. I suppose at least the pre-configured ones should have less issues, but why pay extra for a company to pick your parts for you?

you're right, but unfortunately the sad truth is that sometimes even then a computer part may be faulty or part a bad batch and not know...... and yeah some of them are really over priced!
I've heard some negative reviews about the Blade, so watch out, guys.

I've got one of the second generation blades, no complaints here.
