So now that we have 250% of the original vote goal it would be very nice to get some information on whether or not this will be possible.

Err... I tested the blue sowball for a really short time and didn't like it.
I tested the AT2020usb and blue yeti side by side and the AT2020usb and blue yeti were more or less equivalent for the lower register (up til mids) but as soon as you start going past the mids the AT2020usb breaks away and really has better clarity overall, especially in the treble.
For the same price, I'd recommend the at2020usb over the yeti any day

But at the same time the yeti is also a lot more versatile with the multi modes. Whereas the at2020 is cardiodid only. Which is why I want the yeti. So that I can use it for more than just cardiodid.

Please guys, the Blue yeti would be awesome as a Christmas present. :D
I currently have a Blue microphone (snowball) Very very happy with it. I can only imagine the yeti would perform just as well if not better.
