Anyone know if the AKG K7xx earpads would work with DT770s?

Looking at the two pads I would guess not. The AKG pads are approximately half an inch bigger than my 770 pads. I think they also used a different way to mount them.
Might be worth a try though. I've seen people jerry rig all sorts of pads onto their headphones before.

Haha alright, thanks for the info!
To anyone that owns any AKGs with the ridged headband- you know how painful they can be. As amazing as the k7XX headphones are said to be, not everyone has $200 lying around to basically buy the same headphone over again.

Could you edit the option to not only say the headvand but also the memory foam earpads that the K7XX has? They are different and will alter the sound as well.
