Hey all. We reached out to a few sources to try and get some of these, but we couldn't get a price that really passed on any significant savings for you all as compared to the existing deals out there on the interwebs.
If anything changes in the future I'll definitely update this poll though, and thanks for voting everyone.
any updates on this?
As near as I can tell: MSI Ghost Pro is the good high cost option (1TB hard drive and 128 GB SSD, 16 GB of Ram, GTX 870M Graphics card, 2880x1620 screen resolution) Lenovo is the cost effeicent option (1TB hard drive, 8 GB SSD, 8 BD of Ram, GTX 860M Graphics card, 1920x1080 screen resolution) Razer is the Trap option (No high capacity hard drive, 128/256/512 GB SSD, 8 GB Ram, GTX 870M graphics card, 3200x1800 screen resolution). Aorus x3 is a second Trap option (No high Capacity hard drive, 128/256/512 SD SDD, GTX 870M graphics card, 2560x1440 screen resolution)
Heck, the MSI Ghost Pro even has a larger screen and more USB 3.0 ports than the Razor. The Screen Resolutions are so high the difference is probably unnoticeable. However, some of the Lenovo Reviews mention wifi problems, which is worrying.
Additional note, the product page for the duplicate MSI Ghost Pro listing ( XOTIC PC) has a customize page which offers a lot of customization options.
My vote goes to MSI Ghost Pro, because 'upgrading' to a computer with less hard drive space (Razer/Aorus) than my currently laptop (HP laptop I got ~4 years ago) would be a bad joke, and the Lenovo's Tiny SSD is unlikely to be useful for me.
As someone who just purchased a new Lenovo y50 I don't understand why the votes are falling the way they are. You don't really want a Razer Blade unless the difference in graphics card power makes THAT much of a difference to you. Yes it translates to larger gaming performance but the shelf life of the model doesn't justify the sticker price. It costs almost two thousand five hundred dollars but only comes with eight gigs of soldered on (read: not expandable) ram. Unless the discount is enough to be able to make the cost justifiable (probably somewhere around 1700 or 1800 bucks, then it ain't worth it. Not close.
Hey guys, I just want to say... There have been other polls with Razer products being in them. Pretty much all of them failed ( I think...? ). I asked a person from Massdrop on a Discussion of a poll, and the Massdrop person stated that Razer just doesn't like to do this kind of a thing (or that the cheapest price is already Amazon etc). So... I'm not sure if it'll be possible. Although, Razer usually does EPIC sales if they win best product of CES, and always keep an eye out for bundle deals on their websites (Free Razer Orochi with Blade and others, but I have yet to see a $$$ discount on a blade).
Id rather have razers warranty, I know the trackpad is far superior to others and the overall quality. If im gonna shell out this much munnies im gonna go all da way. You can add the m.2 satas anyways.
Razer is inferior, limited in storage and more expensive "brand" bs which is just a waste of votes imho

Ahem... Apple? :D
Has Razer been contacted? :D
Is this an actual possibility?
