Thanks for your vote and I really appreciate your support! Please understand though, $700 is an unreasonable expectation and you're setting up the group for disappointment with speculation like this.
When I talk to LG, I tell them about our community, this poll, and how there are nearly 3000 enthusiasts asking to purchase their monitor. If LG decides to list, we'll do our best to make sure the price is as appealing as possible.
But what happens when the best price possible is $899.99 (totally hypothetical, LG hasn't said anything about costs or mentioned numbers at all) and everyone's expectations have been set lower by speculation? The purchase size is smaller, LG is less impressed with the community, they don't feel we're worth their time, and they stop taking my calls.
Again, I can't stress enough that we appreciate encouraging comments (everyone on the buying team loves them, they're why we work until 1am launching products and come back at 8am to call companies like LG) but I wanted to make a post about price speculation and you gave me the alley-oop pass (thanks again).
