Easily one of the best entry boards in a TKL profile.

I had been toying from sizing up from a 75% to a TKL for some time. I like my Keychron Q1, it's never treated me badly (save the two times it got me stopped by TSA), but full-size keys and a proper home cluster had been giving me the eyes for a lil bit. Enter this board. All-Philips screws are a godsend, I pray more boards are as straightforward to tear down and put back together in the future. All the foams you could want (I removed some when swapping to linears cause I like me a lil clack), QMK/VIA, the works. A very solid suite of bells and whistles for the price point. I've heard some complaints about how it looks barebones, but let's be real. You are not buying this board because you like how it looks barebones. You saw the cool custom top cases (which are super satisfying in their ease of use btw) and bit the bullet. As you should, in my opinion, as this board is well worth the 80+25 I put into it.

Best Line Of Boards Drop Has Released Yet

Lots to like with the easy build experience and customization options. It can also be built without foam and can sound decent, but I tend to prefer keeping at least the case silicone in the build. I am using the Purple decorative case and the CF plate, so of course it leans towards being a bit stiff, but even with the PC plate it's still not overly bouncy, just providing an overall softer bottom-out. I still find it odd that they don't sell a barebones with a basic decorative top cover to have an actually complete board; I can't imagine someone being okay using this without one, and this not coming with one could be confusing for some first-time buyers. I'd also like to see this come with compatibility for 7U bottom row and stepped caps lock. Otherwise, not really much to complain about! Now do this with a tented Alice/Arisu layout.

the Keeb so nice I bought it twice.

Its a good barebones kit. I bought 2 and gave one to a family member. paired with tactile Gamma Kay switches on one and Linear's on another. waiting on the carbon fiber decretive case.
