From my understanding, it will be the V2 black one. We only received samples of the purple one for the office but the vendor has confirmed that customers will receive V2.
SpencerLCheers for the reply, the black one is perfectly fine, a PCB is a PCB at the end of the day. Is there any chance of a delay in shipping at all or is the 27th still the shipping date? given all the implications with the virus i would just like to make sure everything is all still good to go.
Managed to pick up a DZ60RGB (Hotswap) back in Nov. 2022, but have been unfortunately having problems finding the right firmware to flash it with. Although the back of the PCB is printed with "DZ60RGB-V2", compiling a firmware using QMK Configurator while selecting "dztech/dz60rgb/v2" keyboard produces a 'hex' file, while QMK Toolbox insists I need 'bin' file to flash my keyboard! I am truly out of ideas and would appreciate any thoughts/tips...
dimicharIt's the "standard" US layout, with a wide horizontal Enter key, and a bottom row where there's just a spacebar and a bunch of 1.25u modifiers like Ctrl, Alt, etc. but no arrows.
The other, non-ANSI hotswap version lets you have arrow keys on the bottom row, by resizing some of the other keys.
And the DZ60 solder board lets you make even more layout changes, like splitting wide keys into two, having a stepped Caps Lock, and squeezing in extra keys for European ISO layouts.
Gr33dI have the dz60 in a silver aluminum Tofu60 case and I love it. And the type of plate you get kinda depends on the switch, with linear switches I would recommend a polycarb plate!
