It just works, tons of features. This is my second one, not because of any defect but because I lost my previous one. Overall great quality, only wish the UI was a bit less chunky.
Though it's tiny, it manages to power even high ohm headsets with amazing accuracy. It works great with the drop usb-c to usb-c and my Phillips shp-9600. Soon enough I'll be using the Akoustyx R-220 iems along with the 2.5mm balanced output instead.
The app for it is either on mobile or through a chrome extension. While the chrome extension works great and has the same features as the mobile one. I'd still prefer either a full desktop app, or at least availability on the firefox browser instead.
Almost everything about this "mini" amp is great. And don't let the " mini" fool you. It's not about the size of the amp but the power that it puts out. And this "mini" amp puts out more than enough to power any headphone you might have.
I like that it's nice and small. The sound is good for its price. Ran into a couple of quirks like it didn't want to finish updating its firmware from my phone but at least it instructed me to try it from a PC instead, which I will try. Another quirk is that I set it to treat it as USB DAC as priory over Bluetooth but it still keeps switching over to Bluetooth over USB DAC anyway. I very much like the 2 USB on-the-go cables it comes with. They are nice and flexible, not stiff at all. All in all, it's worth the price.
kaudI had a similar experience. You need to go to 'Input' menu, sub menu 'Bluetooth' and under "BLUETOOTH MODE FOR USB DAC" set it to 'Disconnect A2DP'. This will turn off audio via Bluetooth when using USB but Bluetooth connection will remain on so you can still use the app and it will auto switch back to Bluetooth when you unplug from USB.
Customization options out the whazoo and community tuned EQ to easily get the most out of your headphones. Much smaller than I expected. The mic is a bit sensitive to I think and every rustle of your shirt is so loud, but not a priority for my use case.
This little guy has some juice behind it. It has no problem running anything I have to put in front if it. The built in clip is baller as heck and the Bluetooth is magical. I often times have it plugged into the computer playing music through USB but it's still blutoothed to my phone. I unplug it and it's like magic how it just keeps playing from my phone.
3 stars because of the buttons. The buttons are so freaking sensitive I swear I could get them to click if I blow hard enough. The controls themselves definitely have a learning curve and aren't intuitive in the slightest at least to me. If it weren't for the buttons and controls, this would be a perfect little amp for everything use
