I think these headphones are the best available to get, if you're looking for closed-back design and the strongest or most solid build construction (they have an aluminum body, which is premium level, with some steel) you can get for your money. Most high quality and best reviewed closed-back headphones are made almost 100% of plastic (like the all famous Audio Technica ATH-M50x). I'm seriously considering getting these now (or when they are on sale again for $99), they will probably last for years because such solid build provides great durability (and I really bassy headphones), however, some people say pads aren't exchangeable? If that's so, how can these truly last? Earpads is the first piece that actually wears out. Maybe anybody knows of a similar premium build headphone in this price range?

axeldnaThere is probably nothing more premium than these in this price range. The only premium looking ones that come to mind are Meze 99 and they sound worse to me (less soundstage, too bassy).
