So I'm loving how Massdrop is turning into the lets partner with a big company for a drop so we can get lots of traffic and clone their product, then sell our much cheaper clone of the product to everyone that couldn't afford the real deal.... First the Mayfair O2 DAC then a bunch of headphones, now iFixit toolkits, super not subtly 6 months after the first ever drop of their products. Shameless.
If you were a company listing stuff on Amazon or Ebay this would be fine but... You're not. Companies aren't going to work with you when you have a reputation of stealing product designs to make your own stuff.

AzariahIt says Jakemy not massdrop, they weren't the ones who ripped it off and it's probably just the same oem, calm down.
AzariahAzariah,
We have actually listed iFixit tools for almost 4 years now. However we are not able to source them constantly so we went looking for an alternative. This product is not a Massdrop exclusive or custom product. The brand Jakemy is even listed in the title of the drop. I was able to test a few samples of these and I am impressed so far.
Cheers.

AzariahI think you should try to look at it from a different perspective. iFixit has been selling an OEM of the tool kit and you're just paying extra for a brand name. Meanwhile the tool kit was probably 20 dollars before any company decided to slap a logo on it.
