I like them for a number of reasons. They are light and super comfortable. They go in my ear easily and stay put, at least through use around the house. The bass is prominent and rich without being boomy. Treble is clean and not sibilant. Overall sounds better than my old Audio Technica ATH ANC33iS. I'm less pleased for a number of reasons. When I first tried them I was sure they were broken. Bass was there, but anything mid-range or up sounded like it was in the next room and coming through a kazoo. On a lark, I tried the bluetooth adapter and was rewarded with some nice sounding IEMs! Re-attached the 3.5mm cable and got the same bad sound on multiple sources. As a bluetooth device it sounds better than either of my other Bluetooth IEMs in a similar price range. It is has been hit or miss about pairing with devices; yes to my Pixel phone but my Samsung Tab A doesn't see it. It has a periodic "click" in the output (5-10 seconds; fast, more click than a dropout). I don't have a 4.4mm to 3.5mm TRRS adapter to try it with my DAC. My primary use case was going to be bluetooth anyway, so I'm pleased enough. I'll get an adapter and try it out the balanced cable in my desktop setup.
