I love tea. And I normally just let my tea steep until I remember I was making tea in the first place. If this beeped I might want it. But that's the problem, I don't stare at my tea while waiting for it. Still a great idea. Hint hint.

BrainFlushCould just cold brew your tea. I like tea, but have never been a huge fan of heating up water for it, especially since I pretty much only drink green teas, so getting 175F ish is a bit more of a chore. Started cold brewing recently with the Primula 3-in-1, and I'm loving it. Pour tea just about any time I like, as long as I haven't gone through it all, and when I need more, throw it in the fridge to steep over night. It's great for the summer at least.

MooTatersHow did I not see your response? My mistake. I do cold brew tea. Just dump and steep. Comes out far more earthy tasting to me. I personally like it that way now.

BrainFlushNo problem. Have to love cold brewing though, always comes out good. I've even forgot it and took it out around 24 hours, still tasted just fine, and is always refreshing in the heat. It certainly does offer a different taste as well, but in a good way. One of my green teas comes out looking visually lighter, but I think tastes better. Biggest problem with the Primula I've been using though is if the tea needs space to expand, it just doesn't offer much space for that.

MooTatersI just fill empty large bottles that I haven't recycled yet and it works really well. You're right about color and taste. In the end though. As long as we enjoy it. No one will take that from us. :P
