I like the coat but considering its slim fit it looks pretty bulky on the model lol. Can anyone comment on how shiny the outer shell is? I am interested in the maroon but would like it to be matte. Thanks in advance.

ISkyIIt's not shiny at all in my opinion. Definitely a matte finish, and not "slippery smooth" polyester, but more of a rough feel to it, similar to a couple of North Face coats' outer shell material. It feels very very nice.
