These are very nice but the Ti was $130 when he sold them on Backerkit. $200+ is not very attractive.

MingI just got the Beta QR flashlight in EN-coated aluminum and I love the finish--it looks and feels great. I know everyone has a Ti fetish, but given a choice, i'd take the EN-Al for a pen.

MingCan you share the link please? Are you sure it's the same pen and not this?

andyIt's same pen. Titanium: $100 for early bird, $120 for second batch (which hasn't even been sold out). https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/darksucks/prometheus-writes-a-premium-3-piece-executive-pen

ToxicRight... but that's Kickstarter, he's retailing it for $240 now. You can't get it at that price anymore.

andyWhat? Sure you can! You just need a flux capacitor.

andySure. He could put $500 tag as well. But who would want to buy it at that price(or $240)? It offers nothing to justify that price.
I would prefer Ti pens from Mike Bond, which are awesome: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mikebond/ti2-pen https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mikebond/ti2-techliner-pen

andyFact is that they were sold at $100-130 and there was a profit to be had. I bought one then and IMO it was worth the price.
There's no way I'd pay twice as much at $215-$240.

andySeems like a really cool idea but the price isn't right. A gently used Mont Blanc roller ball can be had for ~$150. Hopefully he finds a way to make the pen cheaper by mass producing it. If the price was under $100 I think it would be a huge hit.
