You don't have to take your phone with you when out running. The whole point is that the watch allows for phone-free running while providing you on-device music storage (to pair with any Bluetooth earbuds/headphones directly) and also tracking all your running metrics, GPS, elevation gain/loss etc with the sensors built into the watch. We have an integration with Strava right now and are considering other platforms to integrate with, iSmoothRun has not come up before though.
