I really think these things are awesome, but I'd be interested to know how much energy goes into their production considering a kilogram of titanium sells for under $5 USD a kg. I can't justify nine times that amount for 2% of the metal. Not trying to hate, but overpriced much?

NonKonnektionIt's not really the "amount of energy" used in the production of these Titanium dice. Machining titanium wears out the expensive tool bits, which adds to the cost of the production. Higher volume doesn't necessarily equate to much much cheaper individual dice/product, so the cost-saving curve may not ramp up exponentially as one may expect when compared to machining softer metals. But I digress. I got these from the Kickstarter campaign, and they are awesome. :)
