RotakuMassdrop is a good idea, but come on. If you can't get it to people within a week or so domestically then I'd rather pay the extra $10 or so to get it next week.

TheOfficialJoshSome are willing to pay for convenience. Others, particularly if it's an upgrade rather than a totally new category, are fine waiting for non-consumable items at a discount, then being pleasantly surprised when they arrive.
Amazon has really changed the public expectations for delivery. Just a few years ago if you wanted a special item it could take months for it to be delivered to the brick and mortar. Then you had to pick it up.
Just saying, put a month in perspective...

TheOfficialJoshIf you can't live a month without something you have lived years without, you have a problem.

GoliathmanNot if I just got a pair of headphones with no mic. Missing a mic is pretty hard when I've had one for years. And if the company can get it to me in three days, then why would it take a month on Massdrop?

TheOfficialJoshMassdrop does not work like that.... They have to order the itmes as a bulk shipment from the factory. After the bulk shipment arrives at Massdrop (which could take some time depending om various factors) they have split the bulk shipment info individual orders, stick a shipping label om them. Then they ship it to us. In the mean time you can use your old mic, just lay it down om the tavle and boost the mic input.

TheOfficialJoshThe drivers won't (probably) matter if you use the voip-program (Skype, TS, Mumble and so on) options to boost the mic.
