How do u use the tension setting properly. And what is its use exactly. I'm 156.528 pounds. Is there a safe zone for this setting for my weight? BTW i received my chair yesterday. I love it. Thanks Scott. But the tension setting - I have no clue. I see a warning on the instructions but no instructions on how to set it

SamScrewSThe tension adjustment is for adjusting how easily the chair rocks. If you enjoy having it rock more then set it loose. If you don't then tighten it. There is no correct setting.

ArozziScotti think I have a problem then... my chair does not rock. Is there something I could have Done wrong? I have tried rocking it at both extremes of the settings.

SamScrewSThe mechanism can be locked to prevent any rocking. You can see on its handle to twist it up or down to lock the rock function.
