They are obviously two different products. One has the cutout for the rings while the other doesn't. Only time will tell. And the previous b8 mesh grill I had was the jc sport line version and IMHO, it actually fit better than oem (top bumper clip was hanging out with oem, jc it fit perfectly), other than the bottom exposing some of the bumper on the.
