Is there any type of coating on top of the keys, or are your fingers contacting bare (polished) metal?

I'm going solely off their video on their website. They state their coated with a color and finished either glossy or satin. These caps are included in that video in which they state their "Coated with real gold or silver". So, I'm going to go on a whim here and assume its not in fact "real gold or silver" (bare metal), Instead; A special paint or coating option with same finish options. It just seem "sus" to me that a "gold plated full size keycap set" would only set me back $300. Or that these caps ever sold for the presented $500.. The website/video I'm referring: https://awekeys.com/pages/awekeys-full-metal-keycap-set

Is there some trick for getting them to stay on the switches? I absolutely love them, but they're nigh impossible to use since they keep popping off the switch stems. I've tried several kinds of switches, and they all seem to have this problem. And it's not like Kailh Purples are anything particularly exotic.

The solution for me is to tighten the adjustable stems: https://awekeys.com/blogs/news/quick-guide-to-adjust-tight-or-loose-metal-keycap
I'd love to know a little more about these - I know someone specifically looking for black metal keycaps and these might fit the bill for them perfectly. Does anyone know if the legends are added with some kind of pigment or taken away by some kind of etching? If these are more durable than the zinc sets that were going around a few years ago I'd be into it!
