I'm shocked that massdrop would allow this product to be sold again after all the complaints regarding poor construction. The magnets are held by glue and will come loose after 1-2 uses. Buyer beware. I'm beginning to have second thoughts about the massdrop business model. Are you guys even paying attention or simply in it for the $$?

mplusdWe've sold over 400 of these in the past two buys, and have had about 10 complaints of "poor quality", which we replace at the users request immediately, with zero cost to them.
So either this is a pretty solid product with a 2% poor quality rate (possible), or a really crappy product with a 98% lazy customer that doesn't want to report a broken product rate (also possible).
Either way, at Massdrop, we generally don't do product curation. Products sold here come from polls and/or user suggestions, and products get relisted based on users asking us to relist them (using the request button). We do nothing to hide information or deceive Massdrop members- people joining the buy are perfectly capable of reading the comments here and making an informed choice if this is a good idea to join this buy or not. (For the record, the magnets didn't fall out of our sample unit, nor is the paint chipping...)
So no, we're not simply in it for the $$, we're in it to serve the community members, if we do that correctly, then the money (and our continued existence as a business) should follow naturally.

mplusdYeah, on mine, the magnets are still okay, but the paint pretty much looks like a rusted old

mplusdFrom reading the rest of these, it sounds like it may possibly be the 98% (not necessarily lazy) customer that are not happy but simply did not realize there was any thing they could do about it. I'm so glad I read this, I was about to order several. Thanks Wangstarr!!
