Huskyowner703Haven't handled one myself... but at 3mm stock for the blade, should be fairly thin and slicy. And the flat grind, rather than hollow, should keep it from being TOO thin at the tip
Just my guess
KavikWell I've been pondering buying a Bestech for awile now. This one really looks cool and it's a great price to boot. How do you find the action on the ones you own Kavik?
T.willyMost are really good, if you're asking about how snappy they deploy and smoothly they shut.
My only semi-regular complaint, about 35-40% of the ones I have can be whipped open. Some could use a stronger detent if that's a concern for you
T.willyNo problem. Here's hoping this is one of the stronger detents 👍
If not, you'll see my review and what might be done to improve it, if you like to tinker 😉
Huskyowner703The blade tapers down really thin. I definitely would not want to put any stress on the tip. Here's a silhouette next to a Manix 2 (Manix on the left, Barracuda on the right, looking down at the top of the knife).

The blade has a very high flat grind throughout and is very thin behind the entire edge. You can also sort of see how the grinds (both primary and secondary) are asymmetrical toward the tip of the Barracuda (not a big deal considering how thin it gets up there, and how inexpensive the knife is).
I'm pretty happy with the knife overall. Except I paid $20 more than what Massdrop is offering it for!
awkExcellent info, thanks. I'm pocket clip conscious and it's hard to see, but I think it's probably typical here:
-deep carry with screw heads not recessed and therefore clogging the space for pocket edge material.
Can anyone offer info on the jeans pocket destruction issue?
