Just received mine also. The first thing I usually look at is the edge to see if the grind is consistent and, at least on mine, it is. It's also very sharp. The one downside is the weight! This is no 4 oz knife as MD had listed. I weighed it today and it's 4.8 oz. I did check the Bestech website after ordering and noticed the error, but it was too late. This kind of thing shouldn't happen and yes, 0.8 oz does make a difference! Aside from that, the knife is very good for the price. One of the lightest knives in this Bestech budget line is the Scimitar, and I think it's outstanding.
