DocZZZno corrosion but my first one a KENDO snapped on the pivot with baby pressure. but it was a problem with a batch of D they replaced it no questions asked or return required ..super fast...and the replacement is still going strong.. holds a fantastic edge. ..so their customer service is above and beyond. better then many " made in America" companies. i own 7 now.

LefibonacciSorry, didn't see your comment! Basically, I wipe it down after using, and no rust at all after several months. D2 is a tool steel, so it can take quite a beating without losing much edge. it is however a bitch to sharpen. Rule of thumb: never use a knife on a "hard" cutting board (glass, stone...) unless you want to ruin the edge. It was my first "serious" knife as well, and I absolutely don't regret it, it's an awesome knife for the price!

Piouwfound that some knives will get surface rust when carried in pocket if you dont check them and wipe/ oil them regularly. lots of humidity and sweat here in Midwest. this time of year. caught some rust starting on one of my blades.

DocZZZnot corrosion per say...watch for surface rust on the blade if you have issues with humidity and sweat...but its more cosmetic. just wipe and lightly oil occasionally if carrying regularly in pocket.

DocZZZThe only one of many that I own that has had a corrosion problem was a Steel Will Cutjack. (Obviously, it's not from this company.) I dropped it in the grass on a job and got is back after the owner found it several months later.
