LangitaanNot to be picky but these are between the first (regular carbon) and second (ergo shape but aluminum) since I believe they are the "Ergo" ones since the description states they have the 15 degree angle. Not sure if and how that would change the review. Basically, it makes them less compact when retracted due to the shaft not being able to slide into the handle all the way. That said, I have these and love them; they are on the heavy side but very durable.
LangitaanAs others have noted, it's a no brainer at this price. I paid $125 (incl. shipping) about a year ago, and I thought that was a steal. These are durable, light, and have great feel when hiking.
