they are unisex. using them for last 1 year. Great poles.
UPDATE: Shock absorbs failed after 1 year of use. The Shock absorb system won't trace back and it creates a gap between handle and shock absorb system. No comfortable to use with this gap. Need to adjust by hand to normal position
