I saw the 2 channel unit and it is about a 60% additional charge for a second channel 720p camera. It is also a new model which will have teething issues for the first 6 months or so, and taking everything into consideration I decided to stay with the almost perfected single channel model.
I could really not see any advantage for mounting a second channel, as most rear end collisions, are automatically the fault of the person rear ending you. This is the main reason I am buying the unit.
