Got the DR500G-HD November of last year. I'm in Australia, it been on the windscreen most of that time. I was removing it at the start due to heat concerns, not as must now but still do sometimes (it can get hot here.). Picture is very clear, sound i turn off (easy to do) when i rant. Speed and date time accurate. The 500 is a great dash cam, I'm going to join as the rear cam would be good as well.
