KnutLooking at the Blunt site, the Classic type does not mention coming with a sheath whilst a number of the other umbrella types say they do. I bought the black sheath for classic (sold separately) and it is a heavier fabric than the sheath which came with my grey one. It has a mesh part which allows you to see the colour through it. The grey sheath does not have that feature. The carry strap is very useful.
In terms of cost, with Massdrop, my two, delivered to Australia, were cheaper than if I bought the same two (without sheath) on line from the Australian web site, which currently has free delivery for two. And I got one grey sheath bonus. The savings were not large though - $0.08!
