If you want the flipper to work, like a bullet then you have to loosen the screw that goes through the blade, slightly. Adjust it so that it isn't loose but isn't too tight and you will have a correctly working knife. It is adjusted at the factory a little too tight.
It also took me about an hour to get a good edge on the knife. Ok from the factory but they don't put a smooth edge on the knife. I have it cleaned up now and polished to an almost surgical edge. No point in being any sharper as it will just dull fast.
At least on the liner they do a lot of cut-out, which decreases the weight. I have a William Henry with a true titanium liner with no cut out and it is light for its size.

jamato8In lieu of loosen up the screw, I used the Break-Free CLP and it works wonder! I'm able to flip 9 out of 10 with consistent faster speed than before using the Break-Free CLP. I also noticed that this flipper utilizes the "fly-wheel" momentum to flip open the blade as opposed to breaking thru the detent resistance.
Flipping this folder is highly addictive. The smooth feeling derived from "spinning" the flywheel to open the folder as well as "closing" the blade back into the folder is so unique in comparison to my other folders that I want to flip and close it again and again.
