I got the Titanium and Carbon Fiber version of the Caliber flipper and it is my absolute favorite knife for a multitude of reasons. One of my favorite features that I haven't heard as much praise for is the pocket clip, which I think Brous does perfectly. It is secure yet minimal.

Demi9ODThat's awesome! I wonder what other brands feature a deep carry clip.
Is there a reason why they are so uncommon? Are they just not popular, expensive to produce, or not as legal?
ahn_anonProbably something to do with deep carry clips being slightly more difficult to get out of your pocket. It's been so long since I've carried anything else though that's just a guess.
Demi9ODI guess that makes sense; it does take some more effort to reach deeper in to your pocket to get your fingers around the knife. But I think the minimalism/less attention drawn to the knife is easily worth the tradeoff.
ahn_anonI'm not a fan of deep carry pocket clips because they tend to get in the way of gripping the knife. On the Yojimbo for example, you'll notice the pocket clip is nearly unnoticeable inside the palm.
And due to the holes they typically need to access the screws, along with the clip being folded over, I find deep carry clips tend to flex and wiggle inside the hand during use.
Also some have weak retention and wants to hop out of the pocket if you jump or sprint.
