kottikSimilar being Seikos. You're paying for the tuning fork logo on this one.

CoalIt's funny, because Bulova is actually beginning to phase out the tuning fork logo on their watches. It's also unfortunate because it's such an iconic logo. I suspect this is one of the last Bulova watches you'll be able to buy new with the original logo, otherwise it will only become harder to find from here on out.

DankkHow do you figure they are phasing out their logo? It is on every "Bulova" watch (at least all of the ones we just got in), the only models that don't show the logo are the "Caravelle" and "Precisionist" watches. That being said, Caravelle is actually a separate brand, and Precisionist is basically marketed as a separate brand. Most (if not all) of the watches have the logo, it just isn't pronounced (like on the new Accutrons, it is just the second hand). I love all of my Bulova watches, especially because I can get them so cheap (we sell them at my family's shop, free engraving too lol).

espeyswimsWhen you go to view most of the watch models on Amazon, they recently added a little disclaimer under the warranty information that says "Due to a recent redesign by Bulova, recently manufactured Bulova watches, including all watches sold and shipped by Amazon, will not feature the brand logo on the watch face." I did however notice a few different models where they don't have this disclaimer, so maybe it's not all-inclusive, but it does appear to apply to most watches.
