The problem with the shipping cost is (or at least has been in the last few drops), according to Massdrop, it is their default shipping setting is either set for "Signature Required", or they have mis-programed the weight. That is why it is so expensive. The communitiy has been trying to get Massdrop to get it together with this problem, and it reoccurs time-and-time again, drop after drop. No one at Massdrop seems to be able to correct this at the core of the problem. Either that, or we are just being ripped for shipping. This is about the third or fourth time I have asked Massdrop to fix this. So I ask again, why are you not onto this Massdrop? Can you not see how the community is reacting to this? You are either in business to keep customers, or you are out of business by losing your customers. How many sales are you losing over this repeated issue?

TasselhoffVery good points made here. I deeply appreciate that Massdrop is able to offer niche products that is otherwise difficult to acquire, but if the shipping costs defeats all purpose of resorting to Massdrop, then this business model is unsustainable. I really want to support Massdrop for the benefits that it brings, but time and time again I find myself going to a different retailer because of the shipping cost. I understand that effectively there's two shipping events happening, once from the vendor to Massdrop and once from Massdrop to us, and that additional cost needs to be covered. But surely there is a way to make it cheaper. I have read, many times on very different drops, that the tracking is less than reliable. People receive products before tracking is ever updated (I've had that experience once), people report tracking reporting inaccurate information. If tracking isn't serving its purpose, why pay for it? I personally am happy to assume the risk of not being able to track my package in exchange for a cost benefit.

justMANGOYes I appriciate Massdrop myself, just look at my purchases. I totally agree with you. The point is, that the shipping is almost certainly a mistake, and one that is now prevalent in all their Dice Drops! That is not the way to run a business, if it is a mistake then it needs to be put right PERMANENTLY, and not just for each drop we have to complain about. I love Massdrop, but I won't be hoodwinked into paying $31USD to ship a set of dice, when the last set I got was only about $7USD, and that was to New Zealand... half way around the planet!
