I just received my watch. very cool looking and great packaging, too. However: It is dead (no battery power). I know it is supposed to charge in the sunlight. Just checking to see, if everyone has the same issue, of it arriving without any residual power?

massreedOk :), thank you. Gotta find a sunny spot for it and see whether it charges up. I'll post, if/when I am successful.

toestorPlaced it on a window sill for three days in a row now. The display came on after a day, but haven't gotten it charged enough yet to actually be able to set it :) - fingers crossed ...

LukasMYes, thank you. I was able to set it yesterday, but after using the sensor button indicators it went into energy conservation mode (blank screen). Kept it on the sill to continue to charge and the display was back tonight. Still indicating "Ps" power save mode, but I will give it a few days (it was overcast today). Fingers crossed :)

toestorFinal update: all is working well now. It took some patience of having it sit on the window sill for a few days, but it works as intended now. Really a very cool watch. Tough, yet light weight.

toestorWindow sills aren't the best unless they are open, you find with most of the solar powered watches that they charge much faster outdoors in direct sunlight without windows blocking a big chunk of the spectrum.

warriorscotYes, but they also get stolen a lot faster when you leave them lying around outdoors :) ... Coming from someone who spends very little time outdoors during the week and owns a lot of watches ... the bane of office workers.
