Why anybody in their right mind would buy this for $30 ??? A similar scale can be had on Amazon or eBay for just $6-$10 including shipping.
Also, no way to use rechargeable or regular cheap AAAs ... this digital scale uses expensive CR2032 cell battery and does not even include the backlighting function!
brainwaveIn addition to the lack of backlighting and expensive battery replacement (my originals lasted about 18 months), this scale in my experience is up to 2 grams off in terms of accuracy. Not consistently, but periodically. I ended up replacing it with a pricier Bonavita scale with -0.1 gram resolution that can be powered by an AC adapter or by battery.
