What kind of circuit protection does it have? Say my device is broken and is drawing too much current than it should be, will this hub stop the feed? Also does it have reverse voltage protection?

b1gtunaGreat question. While we're on the topic, does this device offer anything for surge protection? Similarly, does it offer any power conditioning?
It would be great if there was a kill switch, so maybe I could touch the top and it completely stopped drawing power. Also, maybe the LEDs could indicate the level of power draw for each port, so I could see if a connected device is fully charged without turning it on.
I'm not sure, but I think the price/functionality ratio is just a bit off for me, but that's a personal decision. I'm sure for some this device makes perfect sense.

b1gtunaThe ChargeHub provides short circuit protection, temperature-compensated over-current protection, thermal shutdown protection, voltage fault protection and soft start. Our power supply also contains over-voltage protection, over-current protection and short-circuits protection. Yes, in that scenario, the hub will stop the feed and not harm any connected devices.

TomaCzarThe ChargeHub nor any competing USB charger does not have straight surge protection, such as to avoid a voltage spike or lightening strike. That would be provided by the customer if they were to plug into their own surge power strip. However, the ChargeHub does have other power protections to not only protect the ChargeHub, but the connected devices as well that were specified in our previous response, not to mention FCC, UL / cUL certifications and RoHS compliant for safety.

ChargeHubThanks for your reply.
My thing is, a $45USD charging station (on sale) should do everything that I need it to do with regard to charging. Plug this device into some other device if you want to charge your devices safely just won't cut it at this price point. Maybe for some, not for me.

TomaCzarHopefully, the price here will get down to the $36.99, as it did during our last promotion and will be the least expensive price on the market for this product, considering its unique capabilities.
