I really like the look and layout of the keyboard, but I'm not sure about the switches. Does anyone have more information about the Omron switches and how they compare to the various Cherry MX switches?

DigitalRonynMostly gaming, some general use. I was leaning toward MX reds.

DigitalRonynHow does it feel? like is it linear like the Logitech switches or tactile like others.
Prohero113When we've had focus groups and testing with them people have found them to have a similar feel to the Romer-G switches or Cherry Browns. Due to their shorter pre-travel (1.5mm vs 2mm) they have a bit more "snappiness" to them upon the initial actuation.

DigitalRonynIs there a tactile bump or just straight down like the romer g or rubber dome
Prohero113There is a tactile bump, but it's not incredibly noticable as we've designed the PRES keys to be ideal for gaming and every day typing. Closest feel for ME is similar to Cherry Browns...but we've had some folks say they are close to Romer G. It's subjective. Personally (and full disclosure. just in case you missed it up top..I work for Creative =) ) I really enjoy the keys as I do a LOT of typing every day and the PRES keys are great both for gaming and everyday typing IMO.

DigitalRonynGlad to hear you're a regular every day typist. That's really what I'm buying this keyboard for, I'm not a hard core gamer. And, I frequently am online late at night, so the RGB backlighting is going to be nice.
Looking forward to trying it out!
