I just received my belt (Havanna with Silver buckle). I was pretty bummed at all the delays and not sure what to expect. I usually buy higher end department store type belts when they are on sale at TJ Maxx or Marshalls (MSRP $70-80, marked down to $20). I figured this would be a little upgrade because it was handmade but at about the same dimensions as my other belts, I was honestly getting it more for the "made in USA" factor than anything and not expecting there to be much of a tangible quality difference.
I can say without hesitation that this belt is at another level of craftsmanship that I didn't know existed when it comes to belts. The quality of the leather, the careful cutting of the holes, the perfectly measured fit, the smooth buckle. It is meticulously detailed yet completely understated. This belt has blown away my expectations, and for the price paid is a downright steal. When I go home tonight, I will literally be taking all my other belts out of closet and donating them to goodwill, then eagerly awaiting the next time these DMO belts hit Massdrop.
It may sound silly to gush about a belt like this, but it really is at a higher level of quality than I knew was out there. Much like the first time I handled a handmade automatic watch, the impression is immediate and tangible. If this belt were priced at $125 it would still be a great buy. Thanks Massdrop!

reformindedThat was how I purchased my belts before as well. Needless to say, once I purchased one of Scott's belts, I did the same as you and got rid of all my other belts. I am now the proud owner of 6 DMO belts!
