Sadly I purchased this at the pre order price of 150, and now am told its going to be delayed in shipping and it gone on "sale". Hey Drop what's the incentive to pre-order?

mgoerzenSince yours hasn't shipped yet and they do have a holiday sale on, I think you can cancel your order and place a new one at the sale price. Not sure how long the sale price will last. Perhaps just a few days.

mgoerzenI contacted support and asked for a price adjustment. They gave me a refund for the difference if that helps!

mgoerzenI, too, contacted support and got a $30 refund immediately. However, the fact that I had to contact them to get that price does sadly speak volumes about how their customers are treated. You can bet that a lot of people will pay $150 without ever knowing about this discount.

mgoerzenI just canceled and re-ordered, but I have to admit it's a bit gauche to not automatically apply the discount to those that pre-ordered. It's not exactly shady, but it's not very customer friendly.

mgoerzenThanks to this thread 👊🏻 I’ve just requested my $30 refund...! But I wouldn’t even have noticed the price reduction as I paid so long ago for it. The refund should’ve been automatically applied by Drop and provided with a note “sorry for the wait - but look, we’re dropping the price- so the first to benefit from it are our EXISTING CUSTOMERS!!”.... but alas - existing customers are expected to price shop the company against itself...??? 🙄
