The Drop ALT High-Profile is just like the original ALT, but now it comes with a tall CNC-aluminum case that covers the switches. Machined to have a 6-degree angle, the case is ergonomically crafted for a natural feel Read More
I heard there will be a revision with compatibility for 5-pin switches. When will that revision be out? Will there be a revision for the stabilizers too? Perhaps screw-in stabilizers?
FroogAnd now for me, more than the 5-pin compatibility revision, I yearn more for a 75% version of this board. I can't live without the function keys! An ALT keyboard with just the top function row would just be perfect and would not use anymore lateral space than what it already uses which is pretty minimal and I like that. Then on that revision add the 5pin support and other feature to bring it more up to date.
LBeeIndeed! There is a video by BadSeed Tech where he addresses this. Mentions that Drop will revise all their keyboards to support 5-pin switches . It would just be PCB Upgrade.
Two questions: Can this keyboard be built without the diffuser without any problems? If so, can anybody show me pictures of it put together without the diffuser?
N key rollover isn't something that needs to be enabled, its a feature of the physical design. So, if this keyboard does have n key rollover, there is nothing you need to do.
