Is it possible to buy the solid black side-legend keycaps seperately?
We are working on this!

Is a 100% version on the roadmap? Gotta have my numpad and having a separate numpad just doesn't work for me.
75% and fullsize are in discussion, can't give a guarantee one way or the other right now though.

LukasMSince your response in October, any updates on a full size version? I’m itching to jump in as im in need of a keyboard, but would prefer full size.
Flipflops10Nothing concrete to share at this time, the earliest it could be expected to launch is in the second half of 2024 though.

LukasMThank you for the estimated possible timeline. I think this will move me forward on the Custom 80 purchase. If I went with the barebones, can you recommend parts from Drop to complete the board (aside from the switches I might shop around for, and keycaps which would be your Emerald set for sure)? I’m assuming stabilizers, but not sure what else I need.
(Edited)
Flipflops10Yes, you'll need screw-in stabilizers, the ones that come with the fully built version are Gateron. We don't have those available on their own right now (working on it), but we do have the Everglide V2 screw-in stabilizers. I always hand-lube my stabilizers when building a keyboard, if you need lube you can pick this up (GPL 205 #0). The only other thing you'll need is a decorative case, available in solid-color polycarbonate, aluminum, or two artwork design polycarbonate cases - Overgrowth and Neighbors. We just launched the Camillo Blue polycarbonate top case, but it won't be in-stock until March. All of the other decorative cases are in-stock right now. Add switches and keycaps and you're done.

LukasMThank you for the quick responses. I missed the discount for keycaps on the 12th, but have the Welcome discount to use. I’m absolutely going for the Overgrowth and Emerald setup. I’ll grab a coiled cable as well. How many sets of those V2 stabilizers will I need for this board? I agree, I’ll be lubing the stabilizers for sure. It’s hardly any cheaper to order the barebones, but it lets me pick specifics and also prelube stabs. I’m considering the your Holy Pandas (hand-lubed ones look to be only $5 more right now, right?). Not too loud for meetings, but plenty good sound otherwise. I need to figure out how many packs are needed.
Flipflops10Just one set of stabilizers covers what you need. You'll need 88 switches.

BoSmokeI'm pretty sure it's actually people like you who make this space not fun to hang around in. Take your self righteous bullshit and shove it, loser. You're just mad I like a num pad for my maths o>o

What is the “never-before-seen” component?
I believe it's the decorative case.

What stabilizers are included? I see they aren't included in the barebones version.
They are Gateron PCB-Mount Stabs (Screw-in) - thanks for catching that, will get it added to the Details.
