Agree. This knife was over-prized for what is essentially a “vanilla” knife to begin with; then some desirable, differentiating enhancement really goosed the cost up. To make matters worse, even those enhancement options became unavailable after a time. Overall, it seems Drop has become time deaf to its knife enthusiasts. Perhaps this is by design. Are you afraid of the stigma of being popular for selling tools that can also be characterized by “progressives” as weapons primarily? is that why the category itself was eliminated? If so, it’s another sad example of forced mass cultural conformism. Gimleteye

Are "over-prized" and "time deaf" typos or malapropisms? Either way, I like "time deaf" tho I'm not exactly sure what I would mean.

EntropicMyopicI’m gonna go out on a limb and assume you meant “malapropisms”. Just to clarify: I agree with what you’re saying, just had to point out that bit of literary irony bc it was just too funny. that being said, OP was definitely tripping, this knife is out of this world, especially if you have watched all the YouTube knife channel reviews of it. Unfortunately, I can’t say for myself as of yet, bc I still haven’t even received a tracking number for it despite ordering said knife over 3 1/2 months ago. Drop needs to remove the “drop” aspect of their business model. They removed the “mass”, now just get the “drop” outta here and you guys will be A1. Just have the products ready to go in stock and you will see your order numbers skyrocket. I’ve been dissuaded from ordering more times than I can count simply because I had no desire to deal with the “drop”, despite really liking the products.

ThatsNotAKnifeYup. Probably would be more ironic if malpropism was a word.

EntropicMyopic1st you have to spell it correctly. Malapropism. Now go look it up. It is in fact a real word.

EntropicMyopicI dunno if I agree with you there, but to each their own. What would this theoretical word mean? Something like “bad/poor/lesser quality of propism”? Lol as far as I’m aware propism isn’t a word tho so I don’t see how to make sense of it...if you make it proprism* tho then we at least will have something to work with. Dammit, well the bottom line is I’m painfully bored (which should be apparent to anyone reading these ridiculous comments I’ve taken the time to type out for some bizarre reason; despite the fact that they boast almost nothing of even meager substance) in lockdown and I want my mordax to arrive already. This has already gone on for an absurdly drawn out and painfully protracted period of time, so please Drop, fix this and send out our overly expensive toys for adults.

ThatsNotAKnifeWell a malapropism is when you switch one word for another, not when you totally misspell one. So while op may have made one, I just misspelled something. It's different. If you're really bored read up on them to see the difference.

ThatsNotAKnifeStart with wikipedia: "Malapropisms differ from other kinds of speaking or writing mistakes, such as ... the accidental or deliberate production of newly made-up words (neologisms)."

EntropicMyopicLol you misspelled it once again, my dude. I see this is an ongoing issue for you. Although, that only makes your enthusiasm to correct others’ small grammatical or spelling errors all the more bizarre.

EntropicMyopicI know. I’m the one who corrected the original misspelling. As I stated I was just bored and annoyed I hadn’t received my knife yet. I was referring to the misspelled variant that began this fruitless chain of successively regressing ROI if our investment is time since imho that’s the most priceless asset any of us actually will ever possess...well, that and this damn mordax if it would ever arrive!!😓😤 ps. I just received a wristwatch from Drop and when I say I’ve never seen a package so thoroughly beaten to utter shit, I truly mean it with all my heart. Looks like they substituted it in for the ball at several especially spirited practices for Juventus

EntropicMyopicLol you think you’re slick editing your comment and then pretending it was like that all along? How old are you because that’s beyond immature and frankly just pathetic. Take the L and let it go big dog. Also, I already told the other poster I was just bored and joking when i posted that so it’s a moot point. So unfortunately that’s gonna be a swing and a miss on both of your points, sorry. Try again next time, you’ll get em’ one day champ 🤦‍♂️🤣
