Edit: the very clear general consensus is that we'd all love if Massdrop would remove the giant billboarding on the blade. 🙏🏼

mrgotmilkThere are two reasons for the recent price increases. First, an increase in tariffs from China which has effected the most recent batch of stock. Second, Amazon charges a large fee to sell through their platform. Selling these at the original $150 would have resulted in a loss on each unit. In a perfect world, pricing would be more competitive but until the tariffs are removed our hands are tied.
I appreciate the feedback on the blade logo. I am a fan of the subtler branding as well and will consider this on future production runs and designs.

because we all remember somewhat surprise price hikes that were unexplained (the time the ferrum forge collabs increased by 20$+ because of some 'first batch' discountthat wasnt explained clearly from the get-go)
