But for the cost of 200 I personally thought it would be better.
It came with no thread locker and started loosening itself almost immediately. Even if it had, I would have had to break through it due to some really pronounce gritty action that comes and goes with no real apparent reason. I have cleaned it several times, but had no luck with the grit. Maybe it'll wear itself out, but I have yet to have something like this on any other pocket knife.
The size is fine, although I with there was an actual cut out of the scale for unlocking the frame lock as opposed to the little things that was cut in the inside of it. But I'm sure I am in the minority here, as people tend to prefer a pretty knife. The flipper is fine, gets a hot spot if you flip it for a long time trying to see if a gritty feeling subsides, but it should be fine for most people. Blade shape is great, I have no qualms with that or the steel thus far.
Clip is really tight on mine, I can feel it catch over stitching and and sure if worn on the same pants enough will break the seam. I am debating on taking the clip off and just having it be a loose in the pocket knife.
If my feelings change, I'll update this. But as it stands, I really, really wish I had just opted for one of the drop Ferrum collaboration branded knives instead
K_GOIll have to look that over. Im going to try and have it with me for a little but so I am not too rash with the choice, but it is pretty likely.
How are they with resale usually? Not hoping for too big of a hit off of the price
JaegerDAs long as you don’t mark up the blade or cut anything too serious with it you should be able to get 90-95% of what you paid for it. List it for $190 (shipping included and you’ll go through PayPal) which should net you $180 after a small flat rate box and PP’s fees. You can look on the WTB (want to buy) thread and see if someone is actively looking for one and you can get a little more for it ~ $200.
