from the pictures it looks to be floating keycaps. will there be a high-profile version of this keyboard?

If not, you can make your own by getting the barebones Drop Ctrl high-profile board, a couple packs of Holy Panda X switches, and the /dev/tty Triumph base kit (when it comes back in stock).

just build your own version you can get all the parts. it's way less expensive than this and if you assemble it correctly it will sound the same if not better

EpickeyboardsI would like to see your math. Way less expensive? I do not think you can build this for $299. I have the Sea Urchin - Purple! - Signature Series and it is just about perfect. And bonus, it came with a very nice case. There will be more Signature Series purchase from me. Not this one as I already have this keycap set and I have a major preference for high profile keyboards. And I do like to have other than black or silver options.

Genjokoani meant value, yes it is better and these "designer" prebuilts are a waste of money if you know how to build keyboards yourself

That's what he was meaning by 'math', not the social studies crap you learned in 'school' these days. Something being 'a good value' means that it is a good quality level for the price, which both of these setups are. I guess it's easier to respond with no facts three times rather than to do the slightest bit of calculator addition. ANYways, lol..
