I charged mine for a few hours and rode it to the subway, which was awesome, but the power consumption vs. mileage seemed off. When I got home, I found the manual I found the following in the User Manual:
Reminders about the battery: The battery is only partially charged on delivery. Before riding for the first time, charge the battery fully for at least 12 hours.

James612Yeah, mine's on it's first charging cycle before I try it out, and I probably won't have an opportunity until next week before I can take it for a spin.
