I'm a sketcher/drawer/watercolor painter, and new to fountain pens... What does "designed to be used without posting", mean?
Do I buy ink and refill the cartridge, or buy new cartridges?
What is an "ink converter"?

matt98030- Posting = attaching the cap to the back of the pen while writing - This pen accepts either cartridges or converters which you fill with ink - Converter = Lets you use bottled inks, alternative to cartridges.

matt98030massdrop confuses me on this issue, because the first photo they show of the pen is with its cap posted. And it looks just fine—but it might not sit there securely. Some pens are designed with posting in mind, some aren’t. Some users prefer to post their caps, some don’t.

matt98030”Posting” refers to placing and fixing the pen cap onto the end opposite the point (“nib”). /// An ink converter is an alternative to using ink cartridges. Converters are reusable; cartridges are disposable. Although some thrifty users refill cartridges (typically with a syringe and needle) easier to use the converter, which refills easily from a bottle of ink. /// Hope that helps. ///
