Dtfan74Taking hi-grit sandpaper or a buffing pad to them will take the rust right off

Dtfan74They're made out of high carbon, but not stainless. Where I live, that kind of steel will keep rusting unless I put a thin layer of lanolin (Fluid Film) after removing the rust with 0000 steel wool.
